It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Powell of Wickliffe, Kentucky, born in Cairo, Illinois, who passed away on August 14, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Almos Bone and Cozette Reeves Bone; her husband Jerry DeWayne Powell; and her son Johnny Wayne Curtis. She is survived by: her son Jason Curtis (Angela) of Wickliffe, Kentucky; her brother Almos Bone, Jr. (Jo) of Wickliffe, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Kirk Tucker, Crysania Tucker, Naoma Curtis (Alex), Janie Curtis, Miah Matlock (Hunter) and Mandi Curtis; and her great grandchildren, Johnny Matlock, Willow Schroerlucke, Scarlett Matlock and Theodore Schroerlucke.
