With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Ann Dobbs of Whitley City, Kentucky, born in Monticello, Kentucky, who passed away on August 15, 2023 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Georgie Haynes; her close friend Jim Shook; and her siblings, Denver Haynes, Bob Haynes, Christine Guffey, Eva Guffey, Pearlie Bolin and Alma Ruth Gregory.
She is survived by: her sons, Derek Dobbs of Whitley City, Chad Eric Dobbs (Sherry) of Pine Knot and Jimmy Shook, III; her sister Shirley Cooper (Charles "Bugs") of Stearns; her grandchild Devan Dobbs; and her great grandchildren, Davian Dobbs and Canaan Lloyd.
