She was predeceased by: her parents, Ephraim Koger and Lillie Koger (Hill); her husband Lee Choate; and her siblings, Herbert Koger, Dillard Koger, Marie Kidd, Bertha Beasley and Helen Morris.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Choate (Doris) of Whitley City, Kentucky and Donna Ryan (Michael) of Whitley City, Kentucky; her granddaughters, Jennifer Loveless (Jeff) of Science Hill and Lindsey-Lee Ryan of Whitley City, Kentucky; her great grandchild Braylen-Ray Loveless of Science Hill, Kentucky; her sister Maggie Baker of Frankfort, Kentucky; and her close friend Joyce Jones. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
