She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo K. Mills and Helen Lingang Mills; her husband Joe Bissmeyer; and her siblings, Kay Rhoades, Ann Marian Mills and Randall Mills.

She is survived by: her children, Bernard Bissmeyer (Judy Miracle) of Cincinnati, Joseph Bissmeyer, Jr. (Beth) of Cincinnati, Monica Riney (Alan) of Cincinnati, Thomas J. Bissmeyer (Lynne) of Dallas and David Bissmeyer (Susan) of Dallas; and her brothers, Rev. Joseph Mills of Owensboro, Jack Mills (Doris) of Owensboro and Bill Mills (Gullie) of Owensboro. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
