It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Larry Ray Chapman of Whitesville, Kentucky, who passed away at the age of 72, on January 10, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Chapman and Imogene Chapman; and his brothers, Owen "Sonny" Chapman and James "Jimmy" Chapman. He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyn Haub Chapman; his daughters, Lori Coomes (Jeff), Melinda Hughes (Charles) and Kelli Chapman Grant; his grandchildren, Jordan, Blake Sumner, Emma Hughes, Kenley Grant and Jack Chapman; his stepgrandsons, Mason and Ethan Coomes; and his brothers, Dale Chapman of Philpot and Jerry Chapman of Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held Thursday, January 14, 2021 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory due to Covid restrictions.

“Jackie, Wayne and I are so sad over Larry’s passing, especially Wayne. He told me Larry had been his best friend since they were in elementary school at Whitesville. He talked about staying over at each other’s house and the fun they had growing up. We will be praying for you and your family. We would be there if circumstances allowed it. We will be with you in spirit with y’all tomorrow.”
