He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Vanover and Louann Marshall Vanover. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Woods Vanover; his sons, Virgil Vanover Jr. (Tabitha) and Kevin Vanover (Whitney); and his grandchildren, Jordan Webb (Holly), Valerie Breanna, Van Preston and Kennedi Paige.
