He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Cook and Susan Adams Cook; his children, Danny Cook, Timothy Cook and Deborah Rylene Cook; his grandson TJ Cook; and his siblings, Elmer Cook, Edgar Cook, Thelma Bays, Hazel Brown, Esta Smith and Mabel Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Opal Cornett Cook; his children, Mark Cook (Debbie) of Whitesburg, Donald Keith Cook of Whitesburg, Michael Cook of Whitesburg, Shawn Cook (Amy) of Whitesburg, Robert Cook of Whitesburg and Pamela Mullins (Ott) of London; and his brothers, Wendall Cook (Sarah) of Somerset and Wilmer Cook (Patsy) of Danville, Kentuclky..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and at 9:00 PM at the Everidge Funeral Home (65 Main St, Whitesburg, KY 41858). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
