He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Toler and Dorothy Mullins Toler; his son Earl Adkins, Jr.; and his brothers, Elbert, Henry, Howell, Stevie, Roy, Charles and Lester Ray Toler.
He is survived by: his pet Princess; his daughters, Melissa Triplett (Boyce) of Zanesville, Tena Brown (Robert) of Brooklyn, Dorothy Toler of Lakewood and Joanie Gilliam (Tyler) of Jenkins; his siblings, Okie Toler of Elria, Dallie Smith of Grafton, Christine Richmond (Dilmer) of Nicholasville, Stella Amick of Rainelle and Rebecca Lange of Cleveland, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Whitney Trail, Earl Adkins and Samuel Collins; his great grandchildren, Michael and Connor Collins; and his sisters, Joan Hughes, Corrine Toler and Juanita Toler Hughart.
