She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Maggard and Sophia Banks Maggard; her husband Earl Ison; her children, Estella Mae Ison and Bobby Dean Ison; her grandson Kevin Hall; and her great grandchildren, Eric Ray Sexton and Donnie Ray Sexton II.
She is survived by: her sons, David Ison of Cowan and Joey Ison of Cowan; her adoptive son Darrell Atkins of Richmond; and her great great grandchildren, Eric Donnie Sexton and Alexander Clay Lutes.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM at the Lighthouse Church (6255 State Hwy 931, Whitesburg, KY 41858). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
