He is survived by: his wife Faye Herron; his children, Tim Herron (Sheila), Donald Herron, Shawn Herron and Tammy Barton (Tim); his grandchildren, Dustin Combs (Brittany), Caleb Herron (Savanna), Camden Herron, Donnie Herron, Tyler Herron, Taylor Herron, Patrick Barton and Jonathan Barton; his siblings, Henry Herron of Kingscreek and Bernice Lucas of Whitesburg; and his close friends, Donnie and Veronica Roark.
