Martha Combs Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2024, at the age of 90, Martha Combs (Whitesburg, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Burl Combs; her siblings, Billy Brashear and Jeanette Sexton; and her brothers-in-law, Harold Murphy and Bruce Sexton.

She is survived by: her children, Melissa Newell (Ed), Michael Burl Combs (Kim) and Joe Mark Combs (Vickie); her grandchildren, Joseph Newell, Zachary Newell (April) and Allison Huff (Robbie); her great grandchildren, Chase Newell, Ava Newell and Brinkley Huff; her siblings, Jimmy Brashear (Bo), Tommy Brashear (Mary), Johnny Brashear (Kaye), Randy Whitaker (Venia), Gertrude "Tootie" Murphy and Karen Sexton; and her brother-in-law Buddy Sexton.

Memorial may be made to the Whitesburg First Baptist Church or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
