She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Sr. Day and Nora Stamper Day; and her husband Lawrence P. Sumpter. She is survived by: her children, James Sumpter (Mary) of Linefork, Mona Cornett (Roy) of Linefork, Jolena Boggs of North Vernon and Rebeka Sumpter of Kingscreek; her stepson Lester Sumpter of Rushville, Indiana; and her brother Donald L. Day.
