He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Zenneth Bentley and Helen Bates Bentley; his wife Linda Bentley; his children, Philip Bentley (Julie) of Pippa Passes, Vicki Neubert (Kevin) of Tucson and Lisa Gibbs (Stephen) of Payneville; his brother Randall Bentley of Indian Beach; his grandchildren, Zachary Galloway (Taylor), Derek Galloway (Emily), Isiaiah Bentley, Abby Bentley, Bodie Bentley and Heidi Bentley; and his great grandchild Hadley.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 7:30 AM and at 7:30 PM at the Whitesburg First Baptist Church (170 Madison St, Whitesburg, KY 41858). Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Green Acres Cemetery.
