She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Shepherd and Nila Craiger Shepherd; her son Terry Lucas; her siblings, James Shepherd, Pamela Banks (David), Janice Hall (Bobby) and Glenda Collins (Eddie); and her grandson Zachariah Lucas.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tammie Cook (Joey) of Dry Fork and Nina Dzierzek (Raymond) of Isom; her siblings, Alex Shepherd (late Yvonne) of Richmond, Billy Shepherd (Myrtle) of Morristown, Tennessee, Nancy Thompson (Floyd) of Pound, Angie Maggard (Greg) of Eolia, Ina Shepherd of Richmond and Anna Anderson of St. Petersburg, Florida; and her grandchildren, Tereana Pike (John), Steven Cook, Ashley Timco (Jonathan), Tawny Dzierzek, Ryan Cook, Dustin Dzierzek, Justin Lucas, Chelsea Thompson, Lindsey Lucas and Dixie Deskins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Letcher Funeral Home (102 Main St, Whitesburg, KY 41858). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
