She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe Gibson and Laura Bentley Gibson; her husband Luther Meade; her son Donald Walker Jr.; her siblings, Jesse Brud Gibson, Cleatis Gibson and Nettie Baker; and her granddaughter Maegan Boggs Bowling.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Cook (Randy) and Melissa Boggs (David); and her siblings, Thomas Gibson, Jimmy Gibson, William Gibson, Barbara Lawson, Erma Trapp and Doris Bentley. She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren.
