He was predeceased by: his parents, Riley Hughes and Norma Gimes Hughes; his spouse Stacy Ann Perry Hughes; his daughter Lisa Hughes; and his siblings, Bob Hughes, Hargus Hughes, Billie Jean Hughes, Pauline Hughes, Faye Jent, Anna Ruth Donnell, Donna Edwards, Alice Perry and Fronda Wright.
He is survived by: his children, Brandon Holland (Emily) of Millstone, Hailey Hughes of Whitesburg, Brandie Hughes (Patrick McBee) of Millstone and Ruby Marcum (James) of Kingscreek; his sister Donna Sue Hughes of Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Aron Brown, Ethan Brown, Dylan Brown, Kelsie Cornett, Jeanna Roark, Austin Profitt, Lucah Holland and Alexis Brown.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and at 9:00 PM at the Everidge Funeral Home (65 Main St, Whitesburg, KY 41858). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
