She was predeceased by: her parents, Venon Boggs and Lula Stidham Boggs Fields; her son Rodney Carl Sturgill; and her brother Gary Lee Boggs. She is survived by: her husband James Sturgill; her daughter Patricia Eileen Bentley (Stephen) of Cromona; her granddaughter Kristin Smith (McKenzie); and her great grandchildren, Nolan and Luna.
