He was predeceased by: his parents, Odis Slone and Sarah Jane Slone; and his siblings, Carlos Slone, Ed Slone, Hayes J. Slone and Lydia Slone.
He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Christi Wright (Derrick) of Indianapolis, IN and Jarrod Slone (Katie) of Versailles, KY.; his grandchildren, Grace Tyndall, Taylor Tyndall and Tyler Freeman; and his siblings, Bethel Slone, Donald Slone, Paul Slone, Odis Slone, Jr., Robert Slone, Willie Slone, Barb Collins, Elouise Howard, Geraldine Smith and Nevalea Thornsbury.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Gideons International, of which Carson was a proud member and representative.
