He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Betts and Eva Stoddard Smith; and his sisters, Dawn Huff and Marlene Joann Zamora. He is survived by: his siblings, Leonard Betts of Cowan, Mark Betts of Morehead, Gene Hedlund of Oregon, Paula Gatewood of Medford, Dannyelle Smith of Lexington, Kathy Lucas of Cowan, Jenene Goncher of Oregon and Laurie Danials; and his close friends, Taylor Heron and Paul McIntosh.
