He was predeceased by: his parents, Rolley Long and Verdie Long (Pyle) of Nortonville; his wife Verdena Long (Townsell); and his siblings, Louise Blades, Dorothy Franklin, Mary Ruth Clark, Jewell and William Long.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Long of Madisonville, Mark Long (Teresa) of Madisonville, Jennifer Bruce (Bo) of Manitou and Lee Long (Kim) of Nortonville; and his grandchildren, Brandon, Nathan Long, Hannah Outlaw, Holly Atterbury, Kendra and Hunter Long. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
