James Romie Whitaker Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 8, 2022, at the age of 81, James Romie Whitaker of White Plains, Kentucky passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Romie Whitaker to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his father Romie Whitaker; his wife Gail Whitaker (Webster); his grandson Dylan Whitaker; and his sisters, Mary Blades, Mildred Rickard, Margaret Wells and Dorothy Rose.

He is survived by: his children, Darin Whitaker (Anna Kaye) of White Plains and Debbie Pryor (Johnny) of White Plains; his grandchildren, Jacob Whitaker (Brittney) and Amanda Crunk (James); his great grandchild Andrew Crunk; and his brothers, Bill Whitaker (Carolyn) and Kenneth "Buddy" Whitaker (Martha).

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Wyatt Whitaker Athletic Scholarship Foundation.
