She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Putman and Mattie Putman (Hight); her husband P. R. Whitfield, Jr.; and her siblings, Imogene Vincent (Charles), Lindy, Coyle (Ann) and Aubrey Putman (Maudie).
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Bruce (Greg) of Madisonville and Henrietta Buffington (Don) of Madisonville; her grandchildren, Mickey Blakeley (Becky), Terri Sills, Wade Bruce (Amelia), Christopher Bruce (Jennifer) and Jennifer Gilbert (Brad); her great grandchildren, Leah Smith (Pat), Kara Albred, David Buchanan, Neilan Bruce, Carter Bruce, Alister Bruce, Edison Bruce, Hudson Bruce, Oliver Bruce, Graysen Bruce, Brady Whitaker, Isaac Whitaker, William Gilbert, Henry Gilbert and Emmeline Gilbert; and her great great grandchildren, Fiona Buchanan, Chandler Smith, Wyatt Smith and Becca Kinney.
