He is survived by: his children, Joseph Jay Wnek (Veronica) of Weeksbury, Kentucky and Stacey Mejia of Canton, Michigan; and his grandchildren, Taylor Mitchell (John), Carlos Mejia, Antonio Mejia, Olivia Wnek and LaMika Wnek.
