It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Mae Bates of Wheelwright, Kentucky, who passed away on October 23, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ark Isaac and Ethel Gibson Isaac; her former husband Verman Hall; her husband S. J. Bates; her sons, David Hall, Verman Hall Jr. and Rodney Hall; and her grandson Michael Adney.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Hall Lozon of Wheelwright, Rita Younce of Michigan and Angela Jordan of West Liberty; and her siblings, Clyde Isaac of Ohio, Jimmy Isaac of Virginia, Diana Marcum of Lexington, Anna Lou Ball of Michigan, Hazel Isaac of Wheelwright and Marie Wells of Whitesburg. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren and two great -great-grandchildren.
