He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Hoover and Maryanna Zimmerman Hoover; his son Timothy Martin Hoover; and his grandson Elias. He is survived by: his wife Francis Martin Hoover of Westview; his children, Jesse (Miriam), Reuben, Alvin, Landon, Thomas Hoover, Katie Martin (David), Nancy Girod (Ernest), Elsie Girod (Jerry) and Dorcus Hoover; and his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Nelson, Mervin, Kenneth, Joshua, Aaron, Caleb and Priscilla.
