He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Everett Ratliff and Ruby Daniel Daniels; and his siblings, Joyce Hughes, Patricia Middleton, James Daniels, Danny Daniels and Samuel Edmond Ratliff.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa L. McKenzie; his children, Wendell Dwayne Ratliff (Sheri) of Winchester, Craig Ratliff (Amber) of Paintsville, Kentucky and Melissa Dawn Harvey (Michael) of Catlettsburg, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Hunter Venson Ratliff (Summer), Kayla Dawn Ratliff Tackett (Zak), John Braxton Craig Ratliff, Sarah Ashton Ratliff, Baron Maxwell Lee Ratliff and Blair Lynn Ratliff; and his brothers, Everett Ratliff of Leland, Fred Ratliff and Raymond Daniels.
