He was predeceased by: his parent Willie Green VanHoose; and his siblings, Willie Douglas VanHoose, Martha Louise, Hazel Irene, Mary Opal, Sarah Irene and Joyce Ann.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Douglas VanHoose of McArthur, OH and Samuel VanHoose of Logan, OH; and his siblings, Randall VanHoose of Vonore, TN, Jerry VanHoose, Shelby Jean Baker of Charleston, WV and Alice Moss VanHoose of Vonore, TN. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
