She was predeceased by: her parents, Beecher Messer and Eliza Jane Robinson Messer; her husband Harvie Tackett; her children, Kenneth Terry and Emily Terry; her grandchildren, Clay Terry and Tiffany Lynn Terry; and her siblings, John D. Messer, Martha Messer, Hazel Hicks, Goldie Porkop and Hillard "Bud" Messer.
She is survived by: her sons, Dexter Terry, Clarence Terry of Flat Gap and Larry Davis of Staffordsville, Kentucky. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
