He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nettie Chambers Fortson; his children, Jennifer Renee Swinnea (Danny) of Oakdale, LA and Jeff Fortson (Rebecca) of Paducah, KY; his sister Janice Kay Felts (Julian) of West Paducah; his grandchildren, Alexia Fortson Williams (Jerod), Nathan Wilson, MaKayla Swinnea and MaKenzie Swinnea; his parents, Willam "Bill" Fortson and Madeen Lampkin Fortson; and his brothers, Jimmy Fortson and Ricky Fortson. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
