He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Earl Walden and Esther Mae DeFreitas; his daughter Shannon Johnston; and his siblings, Dennis Earl Walden, Claudia Agnes Denton and John DeFreitas.
He is survived by: his fiancée Mary Jane "Janie" Owsley; his children, Holly Adams (Tim) of Kevil, Jason Walden (Missy) of Paducah and Clarissa Walden of Paducah; his stepmother Berenda Walden; his siblings, Trudy Walden Wyatt of Paducah and Jim DeFreitas (Brenda) of Marion, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Cohen Adams of Kevil, Bella Adams of Kevil, Emily Bolton of Kevil, Jeffery Vance of Franklin, Alexis Irwin-Walden of Paducah, Michael Nickerson of Spring, Texas, Kyle Nickerson (Tiffany) of Spring, Texas and Cody Nickerson of Spring, Texas; and his great grandchildren, Beckham Nickerson and Presley Nickerson of Spring, Texas. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
