He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ruth Titsworth Heady; his daughters, Brenda Boyd and Gayle Waldon; his grandson Aaron Waldon; his siblings, John C., Nathaniel Heady and Perlene Heady Davidson; his sons, Rev. Benny Heady (Ida) and Phillip Heady; his grandchildren, Tawonna Powell (Byron), Bernard Boyd (Stacey), Jermaine Boyd (Monica), Wesley Brooks, LaToya Boyd, Malika Womack (Mike), Benny Heady, Jr. (Verlina) and Angie Heady; his great grandchildren, LeDante Powell, Teran Powell (Velvet), Aailyah Powell, Tamiya Jackson (Jadarain), Shaniya Boyd, Samad Jackson, Sarenati Wair (Alex), Ayanna Boyd, Breonna Boyd, Cameron Boyd, Peyton Boyd, Jermaine Boyd, Jr., Bree Heady and Vincent Heady; his great great grandchildren, Tenaysia Powell, Jeremiah Powell, Taylor Powell, Teran Powell, Jr., Janiyah Jackson and Jaydah Jackson; his son-in-law Auther Lee Waldon (Sherona); and his brother-in-law Otis Titsworth. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
