She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Kent Sr.; her son Thomas Kent Jr.; her parents, Grady Carmichael and Ethel Carmichael; and her siblings, Rex Carmichael and Rosita Ward.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Dick (Henry), Steve Ward (Susan) and Brenda Kent; her granddaughters, Catherine Gessel (Shaun) and Sarah Merritt (Shawn); and her nephew Wayne Ward (Susan). She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
