She was predeceased by: her husband Robert L. Hughes; her son Christopher Michael Hughes; her parents, Jessie Patterson and Oddis Patterson; and her brother Maurice Patterson.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Hughes Perkins (Tommy) of Mayfield and Alan Hughes (Patty) of West Paducah; her grandchildren, Jennifer Perkins Keitz (Nick) of Lexington, Michael Perkins (Hilary) of Mayfield, Clay Hughes and Evan Hughes (Taylor) of Kevil; her great grandchildren, Logan, Anna Keitz, Collin and Chandler Perkins; and her friend Susan Puryear Anthony.
