She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Cornwell and Dessie Cornwell; her husband Sonny Ray Buckingham; and her brother Willie Paul Cornwell. She is survived by: her daughter Rita Jo Pierce (Jack) of West Paducah; her brother Thomas Fleet Cornwell (Donna) of Independence; her stepgrandchildren, Jason Pennington (Brenda) of Hermitage, Casey Pierce (Kim) of Covington and Billie Joe Pierce of Denver, Colorado; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Sydney Kling, Jaci Pennington, Gyonna Pierce and Giovanni Pierce; and her niece Laura Kay Cornwell. She is also survived by several other nieces and a nephew.
