He is survived by: his sons, Aaron Leon Roof (Casey Rutledge Roof) of Louisville and Nathan Joseph Roof of Paducah, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Nolan Joseph Roof, Rowan Margaret Roof, Hudson Watts Roof and Garvey James Roof; and his siblings, Helen Roof Holden of Decatur, Hilda Roof Wood of Louisville, Christine Roof Quigley of Paducah, Velma Roof Keller of Ft. Mitchell, Regina Roof Throgmorton of Jeffersonville, Anita Roof Pass (Harold Pass) of Prospect, Kentucky and Christopher Joseph Roof Jr. of Paducah, Kentucky. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
