He was predeceased by: his parents, E. B. Buster Carroll and Eva Heady Carroll; and his siblings, Barbara Casper, Sue Reed, Billy Jo Carroll, Herb Carroll, Gov. Julian Carroll, Gene Carroll and Bobby Jack Carroll.
He is survived by: his wife Becky; his children, Kristi Johnson (Matt) of West Paducah, Megan Kelly of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, David C. Carroll (Karyn) of Paducah and J. P. Kelly (Kelley) of West Paducah; his grandchildren, Patrick Carroll, Lindsey Beth Perkins (Ryan), Madelyn Buckingham, Mason Buckingham, Conner Kelly (Ashton), Ava Kelly, Chaney Johnson, McCall Johnson and Finley Johnson; and his siblings, Jane Erickson (Steve) of Madison, Ohio, Neel Carroll (Linda) of Paducah and Tommy Carroll (Marie) of Kevil. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
