He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Green and Lillie Griggs Green; and his siblings, James Orvil, William Herman, Edward, Myrtle Watne and Alta Mae Gurdon.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Bristoe Green; his daughters, Rhonda Cathey (Derryl) and Tammy Turner (Ben); his grandchildren, Trey Turner (Ali Morgan) of Paducah, Jarrett Cathey (Rachel) of Greenwood and April Cathey of Louisville; his sister Frances Dalli of Paducah; his cousins, Barbara Jerrell (Bob) of Alabama and Jean Leech (William) of Mississippi; and his siblings-in-law, Glenda Newton, Phyllis Franklin, Lawanda Brown (Larry), Rita Brown (Don) and Jimmie Bristoe. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
