With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janis M Mitchell of West Liberty, Kentucky, who passed away on February 20, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Janis' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Janis has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Daniel and Rosetti Craft Adams; her husband Ray Mitchell; and her brother Larry Adams. She is survived by: her son Richard "Ricky" Stamper of West Liberty, KY; her granddaughter Cheyenne Crace (Billy) of Georgetown, KY; her sister Sharon Sparks of West Liberty, KY; and her nephews, Michael Sparks (Belinda), Jimmy Sparks and Wade Sparks (Rhonda).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Redeemed Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
