He is survived by: his mother Patty Marie Wright Smith of West Liberty, Kentucky; his wife Becky Peters Smith of West Liberty, Kentucky; his son Nathan Scott Smith (Brittany) of West Liberty, Kentucky; his grandsons, Elijah Reed Smith and Walter Travis Blake Bolin; his siblings, Timothy Smith (Janet) of Isonville, Matthew Smith (Genell) of West Liberty, Kentucky, Audra Smith Hall (Trempas) of Magoffin County, Kentucky and Eugene Peters of Morehead, Kentucky; and his close friend Johnny Cantrell. He is also survived by three nephews; two nieces.
