She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Floyd and Ada Ethel Byrd Steele; her siblings, Estill Steele, Rondell Steele, John Steele and Anna Mae Oldfield; her siblings-in-law, Patty Oldfield Steele, Patsy Richie Steele, Harlan Oldfield, Jr. and William Scott Weddington; and her nieces, Debbie Steele, Janet Steele and Kathy Jo Haddox.

She is survived by: her sister Nancy Elizabeth Weddington of Grassy Creek, KY. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
