He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma Adkins and John Adkins. He is survived by: his significant other Cynthia Adkins; his children, Gary Adkins Jr. and Tina Adkins Yates; and his grandsons, Braxton Henson, Bishop Adkins, Braden Adkins and Tyler Adkins. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters.
