He is survived by: his wife Susan Lester May; his children, Holly Spradlin (Jason), Erin May and David Joshua May (Laryn); his grandchildren, Clay David Spradlin, Cole Jason Spradlin, Kinsley Spradlin, Ara May Waeen, Alexis May and David Holden May; his brother-in-law Tony Adkins; his aunts, Henrietta May, Leona Osborne and Mary Elizabeth May; and his nieces, Jennifer Reynolds (Jon), Carrie Volz (Sean) and Anastasia Mathis (James).
