It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dana Jean Ison of West Liberty, Kentucky, born in Paintsville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 26, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Charles William "Sonny"; and her parents-in-law, Leslie and Clarice Lewis Ison. She is survived by: her mother Billye Delores Hall Combs of Paintsville; her husband Dewie Ison; her sons, Chris Ison (Jennie) of Lexington and Daniel Ison (Nellie) of Vallonia, IN; her grandchildren, Asher Ison, Spencer Ison, Grace Ison and Titus Ison; and her brothers, Charles Michael Combs (Laura) of Lebanon, MO and Gary Combs (Reba). She is also survived by nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Potter Funeral Home (329 Glenn Ave, West Liberty, KY 41472). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
