It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Christine McClurg (West Liberty, Kentucky), who passed away on April 16, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Sexton and Lillie Perry Sexton; her husband Arnold McClurg; her daughter Vivian Ison; and her siblings, Ulysses Sexton, Wilber Sexton, Abraham Sexton, James Sexton, Betty Callahan and Wilma Clevenger.
She is survived by: her children, Larson (Ima Jean McClurg), Charlotte (Tommy Walter), Lynn B. (Tammy McClurg), Billy Ray (Cora McClurg), Robert Michael (Shelley McClurg) and Raymond McClurg; her grandchildren, Karen Benton, Danny McClurg, Rodney Ison, Lisa Cover, Lareta Comer, Mark Ison, Barry Lewis, Shandra Elam, Jody McClurg and Justin McClurg; and her siblings, Johnny Sexton, Ishmael Sexton, Helen Lewis, Margaret Sargent and Rosetta Hunt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 requirements set forth by Governor Andy Beshear, a private graveside service for the immediate family, will be held Saturday, April 18, 2020 at the McClurg Cemetery, West Liberty, KY.
