He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lemaster and Pearl Osborn Lemaster; his wife Ellen Jane Lemaster (Jenkins); his children, Jeffery Lemaster and Betty Lemaster; his stepson Jon Jenkins; and his siblings, Oscar Lemaster, Grace Rowe and Edith Copley.

He is survived by: his grandson John Aldridge of Bristol, VA; and his stepgranddaughter Crystal Prater (Brian) of West Liberty, KY..
