He was predeceased by: his parents, Taylor Sallie and Lillie May Stidham Sallie; and his siblings, James Sallie, Marcus Sallie, Ruby Sallie Montgomery, Maudie Collinsworth, Mary Clair and Atlas Hall.
He is survived by: his wife Fern Stamper Sallie of Wellington, Kentucky; his son Chris Sallie (Cindy "Doolittle") of Wellington, Kentucky; and his grandsons, Cody Sallie (Taylor) and Ethan Sallie.
