He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Brewer and Liza Hampton Brewer; his brother Donald Brewer; and his siblings-in-law, Alberta Jo Law Brewer and Meril Patrick.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kay" Rose Brewer; his children, Gregory Brewer (Jessica), Kimberly Brewer Hale (Kevin) and Oscar Brewer (Angie); his grandchildren, Lindsey Hale Swartz (Tanner), Seth Brewer (Megan), Erika Brewer, Luke Brewer, Ellyssa Gordon, Chase Gordon and Emily Gordon; his great grandchildren, Lauren Kay Swartz and Alaina Grace Brewer; and his siblings, Lola Brewer Patrick, JoAnn Brewer Pugh (Doug) and Dean Brewer (Lynda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; extended family and many friends.
