He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Brewer and Liza Hampton Brewer; his wife Alberta "Jo" Law Brewer; and his stepchildren, Barry Beatty and Lori Dennis.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jess Brewer (Kay) of Wellington, Dean Brewer (Lynda) of Lexington, Lola Patrick and Jo Ann Pugh (Doug) of Winchester; his stepdaughter Jane Bosworth; and his close friend Josephine Morris of Morehead. He is also survived by step-grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.
