It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Hillis Bitters in Wellington, Kentucky, who passed away on November 9, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, D. S. Hillis and Alma Harding Hillis; her husband Clarence Bitters; and her in-laws, Helen Bitters Carter and Glenn Carter.
She is survived by: her friends, Evelyn Newman, Carl Hawes and Donna Arnold; her children, Michael Bitters of Louisville, Suzanne Fern (Jay) of New Palestine and Daniel Bitters (Debbie) of Owensboro; her grandchildren, Mackenzie Stilger Wiggins (Michael), Matthew Fern (Rachael), Joshua Fern (Kristen), Ryan Bitters (Ashley), Zachary Bitters and Blake Bitters; her great grandchildren, Charlotte Fern, Porter Fern, Emersyn Fern, James Fern and Cole Michael Wiggins; and her brother Bill Hillis of Flemingsburg.
