She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Simpson Mattingly and Jack B. Mattingly; her husband Raymond Butler; her daughter Rebecca Lynn Meredith; her siblings, Edna Brissette, Johnny Mattingly, Henry Mattingly, Paul Mattingly, Leo Mattingly, Walt Mattingly, Jack Mattingly and George Mattingly; and her son-in-law Jason Hardesty.
She is survived by: her children, Patsy Hardesty of Payneville, KY, Raymond Douglas Butler (Tonya Morgan) of Raymond, Rita Dianne Basham (Buzz) of Irvington and Allen Dale Butler (Miranda Sosh) of Raymond, KY; her son-in-law Phillip Meredith; and her sisters, Dorothy Laverne Lawson and Ann Elizabeth Thomas. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
